 Welcome to EuReSIS Forums

The idea of creating a multidisciplinary European network on Religion and State Studies in Europe was embraced by all you who from the very first moment accepted to become members of our EuReSIS Net. The need to work together in order to create a stable basis for the cooperation between our Institutions, aiming to approach and improve the quality of Religion and State Studies in Europe, soon became apparent. This idea was further re-enforced when our proposal of 1996 was approved by the European Commission and the financial support of our activities was guaranteed for the next three years.

The project started officially in October 2006 and since then it faced various difficulties, as for instance the web system communication. We are pleased to announce that most of the problems have been successfully resolved, mainly thanks to the precious contribution of the Steering committee.

As one of the main objectives of Thematic Networks such as EuReSIS is to create a platform, where national identities and common interests can interact and strengthen each other for the benefit of our Institutions, of our students, and more generally of the whole Europe, you can easily understand that our activation and energetic participation are of vital importance.

This forum is moderated, therefore submissions appear after approval.
